This NBA Finals feels teetering on the brink of a sweep. The Celtics looked dominant in the first two games against the Mavericks, so now Dallas needs a win or the series is effectively over. It is time to check out our NBA odds series, where our Celtics-Mavericks Game 3 prop bets to consider prediction and pick will be unveiled.

The Celtics have looked like the better team top-to-bottom so far this series. The Celtics won the regular season series against the Mavericks at 2-0, and finished as the top seed in the NBA Playoffs, while the Mavericks finished as the fifth seed in the deeper Western Conference. This series features two of the best offenses in the NBA this season, but the key will be the defenses with the Celtics being great all year and the Mavericks emerging in the postseason as a solid defense. Here are some great props for all of the playmakers in this series for both teams. Look out basketball fans and try and make some money!

Celtics-Mavericks Game 3 Prop Odds

P.J. Washington Over 14.5 Points (-128)

Over 214 Points (-110)

Jaylen Brown Over 3.5 Assists (-102)

Why Washington Will Score Over 14.5 Points

P.J. Washington has been a steal for the Mavericks after he was traded near the NBA Trade Deadline. He has caught fire in the postseason with the Mavericks needing more consistent scoring outside of Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic. Washington is the only other Maverick averaging over double digits in the postseason at 13.8 points per game. He has hit over this projected total in six out of the 19 games that the Mavericks have played during the postseason. He was especially an X-factor in the series against the Thunder but has continued to be a key contributor across the postseason.

The biggest key to getting Washington involved and hitting over this total revolves around both Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Doncic is so pivotal to the Mavericks' offense and in Game 1 he only had one assist. Then, in Game 2 he had a triple-double and had 11 assists. Washington has emerged as that third option for the Mavericks ever since he was traded in early February. Expect Washington to hit over this number because he just did in Game 2 and should carry that momentum over into Game 3 with the series switching over the Dallas.

Why the Over 224.5 Points Will Hit

We are getting two great offenses in this series, but the Mavericks have been holding back the overall scoring with their struggles. That is primed to change with the series switching to Dallas and the Mavericks should improve their play. The Mavericks are averaging 106.4 points per game, while the Celtics are averaging 110.7 points per game in the postseason alone. In the regular season, the Mavericks averaged 117.9 points per game while the Celtics averaged 120.6 points per game. Three different players on the Mavericks average over double digits, while it is five for the Celtics. Both of these teams are capable of exploding on offense and we should finally get a glimpse of that in Game 3 back in Dallas.

Why Jaylen Brown Will Record Over 3.5 Assists

The Celtics have gotten more from Jaylen Brown in this series than they have from Jayson Tatum. Brown is just behind Tatum in scoring at 23 points per game. He is then shooting the ball at a solid clip at 35.6% from behind the arc. He is also averaging 2.9 assists per game. In 16 games during the postseason, Brown has hit over this number three times. This over/under is low and I still think Brown should hit the over because he showed off his passing ability in Game 2 where he had seven assists. That momentum should carry over. He is not averaging as many assists as Tatum, Holiday, and White. Brown is a massive key to what the Celtics can do and he should show off his passing ability once again in this game.

Final Celtics-Mavericks Game 3 Prop Bets Prediction & Pick

Expect more fireworks in this game on offense when compared to the first two with a rebound in scoring from the Mavericks. Washington should be a difference-maker back in Dallas and hit over this number in scoring. Brown should hit over this number in assists in trying to get other players involved because of how well he did it in Game 2 and the number is so low. Expect all these prop picks to hit heading into Game 3.
